Question type: Shopping & Pricing

There's a 2002 subaru wrx for sale that has alot
of stuff done to it including timing belt, turbo,
intercooler, rebuilt transmission, stage 2 clutch,
flywheel, tune, spark plugs, hoses, vaccum
lines, coils, battery, intake, bov, etc.. the only
problem  is that it has a slow but small
camshaft leak and I don't know if it is worth
getting or not.. p.s. I'm looking towards trading
my 07 impreza 2.5 for his 02 wrx.

How many miles on the car? It sounds like you are buying a Ricky Racer special that may have been beat half to death. If the only problem with the car is a small oil leak, that can be fixed for not a lot of money.

200k original motor and he told me that it has a small camshaft leak don't know too much about it.

200k is a lot of miles. I hope it is really cheap. To fix the leak I think you would have to remove the timing chain and cams and install new seals. If the leak is really small you could probably live with it. The engine probably does not have much life left in it anyway.
