2000 corvette trunk doesn't open right away,does anyone one know why

You may have ice around the edge of the trunk so try wiping any water around the rubber

I have the hardtop with same issue. Owned it since new, problem started about a year in. Two things I have done are use silicone spray on the rubber gasket and other contact points. Also slighty unscrew the rubber bumpstops at the decklid corners. Even with these measures, I typically open the trunk by closing the driver door to force some air into the cabin.
