windshield wiper problem or not?

Asked by msg61 Jul 19, 2016 at 07:59 PM about the 1986 Ford F-150 STD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My windshield wiper didn't work, I replaced the motor and it works fine on low and high, but the wiper stays in whatever position it is in when I turn it off. Is this normal?

New motor means you have the new park drum switch attached so check behind the glove box for the wiper module should be making a clicking sound while in operation.
