I have a 3 spd auto tranny and want to go to a 4spd. options?

looking to possible upgrade my 3pd auto to a 4spd auto. I have the 4.9
engine. I do highway driving on occasion and miss having an extra gear. what
bolts up, and what might i have to fabricate or adjust? thx

The biggest problem you are going to have is finding a four speed transmission that will not be EEC controlled. You may have to drag along some electronics along with the tranny.
