When adaptive cruise control slows your vehicle speed, do brake light come on?

I checked with my Ford dealer and the answer is Yes ! Anytime your speed is slowed by the Adaptive cruise control, your brake lights will illuminate. That's good to know for the guy who is tailgating you.
