i purchase a 2014 chevy impala ltz on 01/26/2014 the coolant temp is 199 what can be the problem

There are a few things that can cause it to run hot but the most common thing to suspect first is the thermostat.

Also check for an old and soft radiator hose that sucks itself shut not allowing the coolant to flow as it should
