Question type: General

Can a V6 motor successfully be put in in place of a V8?  Will it fit? vDoes it
impact the value of the car.?  Any other pitfalls?

It could be made to fit. If you're talking about a V6 from another mustang, you'd need the motor mounts from the donor car and probably the transmission and wiring harness. If from a non Ford car, motor mounts would need to be fabricated and the wiring harness would likely require modification. I'm sure the value of the car would drop considerably, and the project would be quite the expensive operation.
