what is the factory top speed limit for all the mustang models in 2013 and 2014?

Asked by kweth1956 Dec 18, 2013 at 01:20 AM about the 2014 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD

Question type: General

I am not asking about the 80 mph my key system that comes with the car.  I am
speaking about the factory computer set top speed limits.  Two different sites read the V6
at 112 and the GT at 135.  Is this so?  If so, how can you turn it off or change it?

The GT and V6 models revised styling incorporated the grille and air intakes from the 2010–2011 GT500. The GT's 5.0 liter V8 gained eight horsepower from 412 hp (307 kW; 418 PS) to 420 hp (313 kW; 426 PS).

I know the hp and torque. I want the governor mph set limits, which I do not see on the WIK page.

It really does not matter, you can change it using a tuner. http://www.americanmuscle.com/2010-mustang-chips-tuners.html
