is 200000 miles alot for this car or it still has a lot of life left?

These are usually good for up to 500K miles if maintained properly. If you have the service records would be a plus. And yes it is more than it should have at the 10 year mark figuring 12000 per year.

Avalon's are pretty much bulletproof. 200,000 miles might seem like a lot, but with that many miles, I'd suspect that most were put on the car on the highway. Have a mechanic check out the car prior to purchase. it'll cost you a hundred bucks or so, but he'll answer your question.

Check kbb.com for the value of the vehicle too. If the price is right, it has good service history, and is in overall good condition it's probably a good buy. Toyotas are good vehicles. Hope that helps! Jim
