I have an '03 Mustang and my parking/warning light turns on and stays on at random times, any ideas?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I mostly notice that the light comes on just after I shift, and more often when I shift quickly (and usually harder). It is a 3.8L V6
and a manual transmission.  Is there a warning light rigged up to the transmission to detect damage or a short in the light caused
by accelerating quickly?  Any help would be great folks.

Check your brake fluid level. No, seriously. And make sure your parking brake cable is properly adjusted at the parking brake lever.

That is exactly what it needed, well that and now new brakes and rotors.
