auto shut down relay

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

where do you put the auto shut down relay under the hood

Hi Cheryl! Best I could do was find a thread about an older Caravan which places the auto shutdown relay on the drivers side fender under the hood. That is the most logical location and there's a good chance it is still there. In either event a quick call to your local Dodge Service Manager should be a big help. You could also check your local library, parts store, or book store for a copy of your Chilton's repair manual. Good luck!

It is the one closet to the windshield on the drivers side of the van. If you are standing in front of the van facing the engine it is on your right the one closet to the windshield and can be purchased at Oreillys or any other parts store for about 12 to 15 dollars. Junk yards have them too and are cheaper.
