I have a 1989 530 I BMW it won't start when I go to
start up but unless I prime it through the air box I
have fuel pressure at the fuel rail and I put a new
battery in my battery keeps getting drained
someone told me about a thermal switch what
would this have to do with initial start up and
working right find the location this term Which

A thermal switch is not drawing the battery down. Step 1. find the battery draw or have it done for you. Its not difficult with a mulitimeter or power probe you can do this in 15 minutes or find a decent service facility about $100 to diagnose the "draw"
