93 dodge caravan stopped responding to gas pedal.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving and gas pedal had no pressure and no engine response.
Wouldn't start back up. I checked fuel filter and fuel pump and they seem
fine. Any ideas on what's happening?

Befor this happens it would stutter and stall while reversing.
