I keep blowing the 15 amp fuse for the heater module

Every time i replace the fuse the heat will work when i turn the key on.... but as soon as i fire the engine up... 5 seconds later the fuse blows again. I took the stereo out with the heater module to look for exposed wires but never seen any, took off door panel covers and never found any exposed wires there and i also cleaned the engine ground wire on the firewall. Do i have to take apart the whole dash to find my problem?

Is the fuse supposed to be a 15 amp? It doesn't make sense. When the engine is running, the volts increase and the amps drop so the fuse should be less likely to blow. Looking for a wire damage is a smart thing. I would try to take a amperage reading but most digital gauges are limited to ten amps unless you have a clamp on amp meter. As a last ditch effort, I would try a 20 amp fuse but no higher.
