I have a 1987 Ford Thunderbird but it turns off when i am coming to a stop what would cause that?

I have a 1987 Ford Thunderbird and not all the time but sometimes my engine cut's off as
I'm driving the the car. What could cause this?

Could be electrical or fuel. Code scan may be fastest way to isolate the problem. Most National Parts stores will do a free code scan for you. ie; Auto Zone, O'Reilies, Advance, etc.
