2013 Ford F-150 Ltd, new window regulator replacement trouble

My passenger side window regulator went out (cable snapped) so I bought a
new one and replaced it. I could only find one that came as a complete
assembly motor and everything.
After replacing the assembly I plugged the switch back in to test out if it was
working properly. Well when I lower the window it will work fine to the half way
open point then it stops. I then have to keep hitting the button, and it moves
an inch for each time I hit the window button, for it to go all the way down.
Once it go all the way down I can hit the button once and it will close all the
way with one push. It will also stop its auto close with a push and then with
another push continue closing. So closing the window works fine. However
opening it it only works half way then I must repeatedly hit the down button
for it to completely open.
