1988 Ford Bronco II starts with starting fluid but won't start on its own. Getting fuel and spark, new internal and external fuel pumps, filter. Any suggestions? Thanks!

1988 Ford Bronco II XLT 4WD - Replaced internal and external fuel pumps, filter.  Getting fuel and spark but won't start, however will start with starter fluid. Why aren't the injectors working?  Thanks for any help or thoughts!

Thanks for response. Parked it 8 yrs ago when my husband passed. Want to get back on road to either sell or drive if reliable and safe. My mechanic friend (who's very good) is scratching his head why it starts with fluid. Thinks maybe crank sensor, timing sensor, harmonic balancer-he's going to work on in the morning and asked me to do some research. I'll pass along your suggestion and see what happens! Thanks again!
