89 bronco 94 motor

Asked by Motoxdogg911 Apr 11, 2018 at 11:02 AM about the 1989 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 4WD

Question type: General

I have a 1989 bronco with a 302 efi in it. Blew the
motor and looking for one to swap into it easily. Will
a 1994 302 efi bronco motor slap right in and plug n
play?

Nope, definitely not plug and play. You will be in for a lot of refitting to make the later model engine work in the old system. It can be done as I have done it, but it takes hours and hours, some custom work, the biggest headache I had was getting the right ring gear to work, finally found one and had to have it rebalanced for the engine.
