Sounds like it's time to take it to a Technician. That system isn't very difficult. Am I to assume that the engine cranks but won't start and has no spark? 5.0L Automatic?

There is a fuel cutoff button that must be pressed along the driver's side kick panel...fuel pressure will be restored. http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t46401_ds537709

You mean the Inertia Switch. You'd have to hit the vehicle pretty hard to activate it - or smack the switch with a hammer.

I've got the same issue going on, everything from timing chain up replaced, now you can crank all day, throws the code that the TPS voltage is out of range. not sure what else to try, love my rig but hate watching it sit and not rolling in it.

The Neutral Safety switch is faulty or the gear selector is out of adjustment or the bushings for the selector rod that runs down the steering column are worn out.

I'm having a similar problem on my 88 XLT. I replaced the starter, solenoid on the quarter panel is only a few months old. Turn the key and the solenoid clicks. Same with jumping the posts on the solenoid. Help?!?!

Be aware of faulty starters!!! They are out there. I got my Broncos running tonight. Turned out to be a crap starter. Just a heads up y'all, when you buy a starter have them test it before you take it home. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I'm having same problem. 88 full size bronco. First the solenoid kept melting, mechanic replaced it and the wires. Happened again. He mounted the solenoid directly to the starter. Then would only start sometimes, replaced starter, battery and alternator. And still only starts some times. Everything comes on and you hear it click but then nothing...so frustrated! Any suggestions?
