S550 Looking for the Classic year

I am considering purchasing an S550 and would like feedback on the best year to get.  I am an owner of a W220 S500 1998 which was perfect for me.  I consider it a classic and would like to have a similar experience with the S550 as I know that there is always a model/year that stands our above the rest.  I trust the feedback on Car Gurus
