front brakes will not release

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the brake shoes on my 2013 Silverado. I also had to replace the
driver side wheel cylinder. I bled the brake line for that wheel. My problem is
that now my front brakes are not releasing. Any ideas on what is causing this?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply but the 2013 Silverado has brake shoes. I did not replace the hoses but I did bleed the one line that I replaced the wheel cylinder on. I am confused on why replacing the back brakes would cause the front brakes to lock up.

Got another question for you tennisshoes. I have had to replace the rotors and brake pads on the front of my truck. Problem is that the caliper on the passenger side has one cylinder all the way in like I would expect but the other cylinder is all the way out. I have gone as far as removing the caliper and trying to push the cylinder in with a vise but it refuses to budge. Does this mean the caliper is bad or am I doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.
