Humming noise at 50 miles per hour

Asked by Glk3502013 Aug 01, 2018 at 08:45 PM about the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 4MATIC

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm getting a humming sound from the front end of
my car but it only happens right at 50 miles per
hour.  It stops as soon as I go 51 miles per hour
doesn't do it at 49 only right at 50 miles per hour
what could this be?

1 Answer

I don't know but I suppose it might be a resonance. It would not hurt to check out the wheel bearings for play.
