2013 Hyundai Sonata funny smell

Asked by JLiu Dec 29, 2012 at 11:05 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought my Sonata GLS last week from a dealer so it's brand new.  Today I noitced a clunk sound when I did not break smoothly.  Is that normal?  Also We noticed a funny smell in my garage after it's parked. (like a burning smell from my house heater sometimes).  It was a cold day and the first time I cranked up the heat inside the car.  Could that have something to do with the smell?  Thanks!

It's a new car. There will be a slight burning smell from the exhaust system for a while. Thanks for the "Best Answer" click.
