Why is my engine sound so loud and crappy?

I thought maybe because it had 10 miles when i first got it, but 500 miles later i still can't get used to the sound. it's
very noticeable when you first turn the car on, and i think the noise fades behind the sound of the road once you're
up to speed driving it. It sounds like an old diesel car. I wonder if this is for all the cars or just mine.

i'm afraid they'll just say that it sounds like that normally. How can i tell if it has an exhaust leak??? does anybody have a 2013 sonata, and do you think it sounds a little loud to you, or is it nice and quiet???
I have a 2013 Sonata that I bought last September - the loudest card I have ever owned. I have taken it back and, of course, they say there is nothing wrong with it. The noise was not noticeable when I went for the test drive and I was not aware of it until I had it for over a month. I have done some research on line and found 2 possible answers. 1. Cheap tires or 2.not much insulation in the floor. I am upset because I should not have to buy new tires, but might have to because the noise is irritating to me especially on long drives.

My hyundai sonata 2012 model has a reckin sound and does not pull, what is the problem.
