Car won’t move when in drive

Asked by Guru54WYY Dec 15, 2017 at 07:14 PM about the 2013 GMC Terrain SLE1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I start my car and when I put it in drive it didn’t
move. So I turned it off and then back on and the
same thing happened, but on the third try it worked.
What may have caused that? Granted it’s been very
cold lately.

how cold? may need to run engine a little longer so the trans fluid has a chance to circulate, tom is also correct about checking the fluid level.
