What do I do if I shorted out a window switch and it caused my car to not start?

I have a bad window switch for the driver
door so I tried to jumped the switch to let
the window down and got a slight spark
and now my car won't start. Never have
any problems starting until this in the 5 yrs
I have owned it. Any idea what I have
done?
