Can unleaded gas be used in a Mercedes

You can use regular unleaded fuel, but it will get poor fuel mileage and its performance will suffer. It may also throw a check engine light or cause damage if used on a regular basis. In other words NO, only use it if it is the only fuel grade avalble. I will only use regular in my Benz if its an emegency.

It may also void your warranty if your using a lower grade fuel other than what is recommended.
