Thanks for you answers regarding my transmission lines, however there is nothing to tighten. I am sending a picture that hopefully shows that there are no unions to tighten.

not sure if you got your answer or not, but the lines in your picture are oil cooler lines, unrelated to transmission. replacements are sold as a set of 2. at each end there is a plate that bolts into the ends, 9/16 socket size if I remember correctly. new lines will have new o-rings

Thanks 98streetcvpi. You are correct, I was using information based on what I thought was expert knowledge. I have replaced the lines and all is well. By the way it was an 8mm. Thanks again.
