Brunt Rubber Smell

I'm getting a burnt rubber smell when A/C is on if I turn off it's gone . Comp. seems to be running ok I can't see any fraying on the belt . could this be the idler right above the Compressor/ Truck only has 28 k

Set the A/C to recirculate the inside cabin air and see if you still get the smell. The smell could be coming from the blower motor, if it's under the hood, but you should get the same smell if the setting is turned to heat.
