Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 ford focus zts 2.3L and the od light flashing
on and off after warmed up and it takes a few seconds to
engage in to gear? Any suggestions what's going on with
that. I was told it needed a new trans? Will replacing
sensers fix the problem or should I skip that extra cost and
replace it?

Thank you for your response. I had a shop service the transmission and they said it needed a new 1 and as we all know shops will tell you that to make more money. We can't get it to throw a code and that's been the problem. Otherwise I'd be further along with this. Thanks again for your response
