I have a 2004 ford focus zts version. Awhile back 2months ago, my fuel cap light came on. I put a new cap on and the light remained on... Yesterday, istarted it up and the engine light came on. Help

this problem sounds like a wiring problem for the fuel filler flap and not the cap it's self.
