Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've got a 2002 Dodge Dakota that won't drive
forward. The display says shows the changes and
the shift linkage undernesth will change for
park/neutral/reverse but nothing happens when it's
put into drive. It sat for 2 weeks at minus 40
without being driven but I towed it inside and let it
warm up and thaw out and that didn't change
anything. Any idea what's wrong and what kind of
repair it might need?

A few more details, cleaned it out underneath of ice/mud, the shift linkage pipe turns for park/neutral/reverse but nothing else, it's a tiny bit wiggly when I move it with my hand, and the truck drives in reverse no problem. No engine lights, and the transmission fluid is full/clean and I recently did an oil change so fluids r good
