Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I left the ignition switch turned on for about an hour or two on my 02 Dakota . Now it won't start unless jumped and then it won't idle.  It started & ran fine prior to that. Did I fry something?

you have a parasitic drain...you will need a multimeter set to amps to track it down...eric the car guy will take you through the process of finding your parasitic drain~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdIKNnwEjIs

Thank's for the response. It just ended up needing a new battery. Starting and idling fine now.
