Both of my sliding doors will not open at all no way no how .. HELP

Asked by Kim Oct 12, 2012 at 10:48 AM about the 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring FWD with DVD and Navigation

first it was the passager side and i  did the fuse thing  and it worked for a while now Neither one of them will open
and my computer says check right side door and check left side door .. Any suggestion??? HELP

to confirm you can not manually open either door, or you mean by the power option (hitting the button)? if manually there will be some resistance, from inside or outside, (child safety locks not the issue), the bottom of the door runs along a track, a rock,pebble, kid toy can sometimes get wedged in, and if one sensor detects a blockage, it will not open, to make sure the track is clear, the door should be opened, lol...are the locks working properly, as in you hit power lock/unlock and they are functioning...

Thank You for your response .. Yes the locks are working. and yes neither door will open manually or automatically the drivers side sometimes in can manually open it about a foot and that's it..

i cant imagine any one thing that would make both motors sieze up, which is why im stumped with out looking at it...:(
