I have a 2003 dodge caravan that was working fine no overheating, smoking,stalling,or choking,.Then the next morning car started but stumbled and choked and and gas smelled rich and thick white smoke.

that sounds like antifreeze in the combustion chambers. common head gasket or warped head. was it extra hot at last shutdown, could have cracked when cooling down.
