Engibe light on

My 2012. Jeep liberty is jerking the Engibe
light is on. When on the highway it will need
exceed speed limits at times very
hazardous. Misfire advance auto stated.
Took to dealership warranty over 2 months
ago I still have a note of 11,000 dollars I
have already paid 14,000 on this truck I am
so fustrated right now. Yes there should be a
recall on these vehicles .

A lot of times on these vehicles the EGR and tube needs to be cleaned out, but I would suggest getting the trouble codes read and post them back here for further assistance.

O2 sensor (part of the emissions system, monitoring and helping adjust the air-fuel mixture) Loose gas cap Catalytic converter Mass air flow sensor (monitoring the amount of air mixed in the fuel injection system) Spark plug wires Also try disconnecting the battery for 15 mins , this can reset some electronics.
