Asked by Mannyz24 Nov 14, 2018 at 08:19 PM about the 2012 RAM 1500 Express Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have an 2012 ram 1500 will not start. Ture the key
and there is clicking in the fuse box. All light come
on the dash and dome light comes on when
opening the door. Bother in-law says it could be the
battery, so I changed it and still dong the same
thing.

I had the same problem with my 2012. Changed the battery and put a new starter in....it still did it. What I found out is sometimes the neutral safety switch is messed up. Next time it does it try to put it in neutral and then turn the key.
