450h lexus glovebox wont stay closed

Hi Guru62D1M! Just wondering if you ever got any useful advice with your glovebox not staying shut. Same thing happening to my 2010 RX. I see the problem is whatever is supposed to pop out on both sides of the door ain't popping out! I can't see any way to open up the door & get inside. I imagine it's a spring that's the problem. Just hate to bring it to Lexus. Rather not pay hundreds of $$ to fix this foolish thing. So, any tips would be appreciated, Thanks!
