Fob key nor Physical key turns car alarm off.

A couple of times I was unable to turn my car alarm off with my fob key nor
main key. I just had to wait for the alarm to go off by itself and sometimes when
I put the key back in the car to unlock it the alarm goes back off.

We had this stupid problem. I removed the hood latch sensor myself and it never happened again.

You can always disconnect the battery when this happens, but its a pain. Question..When the alarm is tripped, if you put the key back into the exterior lock of the driver door & turn, it should disable the alarm. Have you tried this with no success??
