Check brake fluid level in master cylinder and top it off if low. Check air pressure to make sure they're not low. If you still have the same problem, you have a bad sensor on one of the wheel that either worn or damaged when they rotated the tires. You will need to have it scanned to identify the issue.

They put the computer on it. And it said the speed sensor near or on the transmission went bad. Nothing was wrong with it before the oil change and tire rotation. Thank you for taking your time to help me. I'm just so afraid with me being a woman they will try to take advantage of me.

Electronic parts fail and can fail at anytime. No one did anything malicious and its simply and unfortunate coincidence. There is generally 3 things that can cause a speedo failure, the speeometer it self, the VSS (vehicle speed sensor), or the wiring. If the sensor has failed is has set trouble codes in 1 or more control modules causing warning lights in your instrument cluster to illuminate. If you don't trust the people working on your car i would suggest finding someone or some place you can trust. Almost every professional repair shop is trustworthy and they myth of women and those less educated on auto repair get taken advantage of is just that a myth. Avoid the quick lube, jiffy lube, and chain repair centers as there goal is profit first while a professional repair shop depends on its reputation in order to obtain profit. Good luck to you and hope your car gets fixed right the first time.

That's an odd coincidence. I'm going through the exact same thing basically word for word. Did you find the issue ?

This is exactly what happened to ours. Had a tire changed and now the lights come on intermittently and the speedometer stops working intermittently. Seems very odd that several have this issue when they changed or rotated tires. Sounds like a Nissan issue to me.

These cars are not junk. I have owned two of them and they have been the best cars I have ever had.
