05 neon cranks but runs for a few seconds

05 neon replaced bad battery. Started once fine.
Been hard starting since and before replacing. Will
crank and fire, but only runs for a couple seconds
and dies. Very rough the short time it does run.
Thinking either crank or cam sensor. No engine
light. Getting fuel can smell it and eventually floods
out. Thanks in advance

check , clean replace the plugs , see if the injectors are firing normal , scan for codes even if the light ain't on and get the definitions
