My radiator cap popped off while driving. Coolant everywhere. I filled the resivoir back up but it's still overheating and the heat isn't working

Ahh Ha! Let it cool and added quite a bit of coolant straight under radiator cap. Let it sit for awhile and fired her up. No overheat and heater cranking nice and toasty again!

I had the same issues. The mechanic told me that I might of had a head gasket issue. I was not. Took and replaced the Radiator cap, refilled it, let it cool. Then was good to go. My heater does not work well. But I don't think it was because of that.
