I have a 2005 dodge neon sxt the car was overheating and I replaced the thermostat after about 300 miles I check engine light came on for it again but it's not over heating and fluids are good.

Code is for coolant temp rationality, basically bleed your system as stated above make sure all air is out of the system clear your code and test drive for a while, if the code comes back here is some more possible causes: SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO BATTERY VOLTAGE.... MONITOR ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE .....TEMPERATURE SENSOR VOLTAGE BELOW 1.0 VOLT..... SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN..... SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN .....SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND .....SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO SENSOR GROUND ....PCM LOW VOLTAGE.... PCM HIGH VOLTAGE
