Volkswagen Jetta Door Not Closing

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes when i go to shut the driver’s side door,
it doesn’t shut fully and i can’t lock the doors since
it’s not latched on correctly. Recently it’s been
taking a lot more to get it click into place correctly.
How should i go about this?

Try spraying the latch in the door down with some WD40 to clean it up. If it still doesn't latch, you might need to replace the latch.
