Why is my car making a ticking sound when accelerating?

When I'm driving my car it makes a
ticking sound that gets faster as I
accelerate. Once I put on my brakes
it stops. The sound seems to be
coming from the front right side.

Have the front end inspected, checked out for wheel bearings, breaks, CV joints, etc.

I have a 08 vw jetta the car starts with a very loud ticking noise .anyone help me please what can be the caused
