front end seems higher than rear end

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is there anything that would make front end look higher than rear?  Do shocks have
anything to do with it? When I drove to work and parked, car looked normal. But in my
garage, it looked slanted. Either my garage floor is crooked or there's something wrong
with the car.

Visual misconception is a common error. Go find a flat surface in an open area like at a shopping center or the flat concrete pad behind any big business and park your auto there. Get out and walk about 20 feet, then look at it again. Some cars are built to sit higher in the front (Chevy S10 and the bigger Cadillac's from the 70's all seem to). Most garage floors are poured to be low at the garage door so that fuel spilled will "run" to the door, so vapors will go out when the door is open or over time as the door seal breaks down.
