Is that the rain sensor? I thought it was a headlight sensor turns off the auto high beams when another vehicle approaches. Chrysler told me that rain sensing is part of the windshield and that the previous owner cheaped out and purchased an after-market windshield without the rain sensor capabilities. There is, as well (according to Chrysler), a 'rain sensor module' that goes with it and that my vehicle's is missing. Could it be that that device is all that is needed? Is it an eye that senses the rain? My Haynes repain manual shows nothing on this.
