Have your gotten the used/rebuilt trans replacement $2500++++ quote yet? I see many of the owners walk away from these, but like said above if its in nice shape otherwise, you may get another 10-12 years out of it with mostly serviceable part fixes and replacements and servicing since you only drive 10,000 miles a year. Which is far below the cost of a new car. If so keep the fluids fresh and filters changed and do not let it run hot ever, when talking about servicing I mean preventive maintenance, like putting new thermostat in it before it fails, and new radiator and heater hoses replaced before they burst. New drive belts before they break ect.
