Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, 2.5 6 Cylinder engine. When I get to a light and slow down or brake
completely the car shuts off, It comes back on just fine but it's a terrible nuisance. What could be the problem?

First part of the problem is that it uses a Mitsubishi engine, a.k.a., import garbage. Second, I suggest cleaning your throttle body blade. Lastly, I'd wager it's a leak in one of the rubber hoses that runs off the valve cover or intake. That, or your Idle Air Control Valve, if the vehicle is equipped with one.
