Car brakes

Asked by Miles Sep 19, 2018 at 11:02 PM about the 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My subaru impreza has been making a slight squeaking and rubbing sound when I push on the breaks, is there something rubbing against it that is causing it?

Probably just the brakes. You could take them apart and clean and lube the moving parts and use anti squeal on the backs of the pads.

Yes wear indicators built into the brake pads, change pads soon before you wreck the more expensive rotors they come in contact with, by soon I mean like today. Of course there's no chance of loosing brakes just money drive as you wish, I hope this helps you
